- Accumulator
- Similar to a parlay, a bet that combines multiple selections and multiplies the odds together.
- Arbitrage
- The practice of placing bets on all possible outcomes with different bookmakers to guarantee a profit.
- Asian Handicap
- A point spread that eliminates the draw outcome, giving one team a fractional advantage or disadvantage.
- Back Bet
- A conventional bet that an outcome WILL happen, placed against the exchange or bookmaker.
- Banker Bet
- A selection considered almost certain to win; often used to boost the odds of a parlay.
- Bankroll
- The total amount of money you have set aside for betting; managing it helps avoid overspending.
- Bet Builder
- A feature that lets you combine different markets from the same match into one custom bet.
- Bookmaker Margin
- The built‑in profit margin for the bookmaker, expressed as a percentage of the total odds.
- Both Teams To Score
- A bet on whether each team will score at least one goal during the match.
- Cash Out
- The option to settle a bet early for a reduced payout, locking in profit or limiting loss.
- Correct Score
- A bet that predicts the exact final score of a match.
- Double Chance
- A bet that covers two of the three possible outcomes (win/draw/win) in a match.
- Draw No Bet
- A bet that refunds your stake if the match ends in a draw, otherwise you win on the chosen side.
- Edge
- An advantage you have over the bookmaker, often derived from better information or analysis.
- Half-Time/Full-Time
- A bet that requires predicting both the score at half‑time and the final score.
- In-Play
- Bets placed while a match is already in progress, with odds that change as the game unfolds.
- Juice
- The commission or fee a bookmaker adds to the odds, usually seen as the extra price on a bet.
- Lay Bet
- A bet that a particular outcome will NOT happen, usually placed on a betting exchange.
- Live Betting
- Same as In‑Play; refers to wagering on events that are happening right now.
- Moneyline
- A bet on which team will win the match, without any point spread; odds reflect pure win probability.
- Odds
- The number that shows how much you can win relative to your stake; higher odds mean bigger potential payout.
- Over/Under
- A bet on whether the total number of goals (or points) in a match will be higher or lower than a set number.
- Parlay
- A single bet that links two or more selections; all must win for the parlay to pay out.
- Stake
- The amount of money you wager on a single bet.
- Value Bet
- A bet where the odds offered are higher than the true probability suggests, giving an expected edge.
